LifeChurch is a growing community of dynamic individuals and families who are seeking to fulfill their lives spiritually by following the direction given in the teachings and by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We are a culturally diverse community consisting of people from varying walks of life, ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. Whether this is your first experience with God, or if you are looking for a new home, there is a place for you at LifeChurch!
We invite you to join us in at least one of our worship services. Here, you will experience the love of God, incredible worship, energetic music, powerful prayer, and life-changing messages inspired by the Word of God. You surely do not want to miss out on this!
In addition to the worship services, we also feature LifeGroups which are small groups meeting at various locations for consecutive weeks in two periods (semesters) each year. These groups provide church members and guests with the environment to connect with each other and study the teachings of the Bible in a more intimate setting. There is a variety of LifeGroups to be a part of, and, there is definitely one for you!
LifeChurch promotes spiritual development for all ages. There are many ministries and ministry opportunities tailored to serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of young kids, teenagers, college students, professionals, married couples, singles, seniors and ministry-minded individuals. At LifeChurch, we seek to serve Jesus by serving people in need, starting at the San Gabriel Valley.
Connect – Grow – Serve
When Jesus made Disciples out of the men who followed him, He used a simple process. First, He would CONNECTthem to God (Himself) and to the other disciples. Then, He used teaching and experience to help them GROWinto their potential. Finally, He sent them out to SERVEothers by sharing the Good News and meeting their needs. The order was important. They could not effectively SERVEuntil they had GROWN, and they could not effectively GROWuntil they were CONNECTED. At LifeChurch, we want to help people grow and express their gifts in ministry using the pattern that Jesus modeled: CONNECT, GROW, SERVE.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (II Timothy 3:15-17).
God is absolutely and indivisibly one (Deuteronomy 6:4; Galatians 3:20). In Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). He is the self-revelation of the one God, the incarnation of the full, undivided Godhead (John 20:28; I Timothy 3:16).
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (II Thessalonians 1:8; I Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection). (I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39; Romans 6:3-4).
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully (I Corinthians 6:19-20; II Corinthians 7:1; I Thessalonians 5:23). Holiness is an integral part of our salvation from the power and effects of sin. It is part of abundant life, a joyful privilege, a blessing from God’s grace, a glorious life of freedom and power.
The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10).
